ScholarRoots is more than a consulting service — it’s a supportive community created to help Doctor of Social Work (DSW) students, prospective scholars, and faculty navigate the challenges of advanced education with clarity, confidence, and care.

Founded by Dr. Curtis Davis, PhD, LMSW, an award-winning DSW educator and mentor, ScholarRoots offers coaching, capstone support, and a space for real conversation about the doctoral journey. With over a decade of experience teaching, advising, and leading doctoral programs, Dr. Davis brings deep expertise in topics like racial equity, oppression theory, trauma, and practitioner scholarship, as well.
